PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
This is Ryan playing Shinthy a traditional Schottish sport. We have to wear protective equimpment. We wear shin guards, a helmet and a faceguard - even during training sessions!
A TEAM SPORT
Shinty is a team sport played between two teams of 12 playeres. To score, you have to hit a small hard ball through the goals.
A shanty pitch is almost he size of 3 football pitches!
So you run a lot, and you have to be fast if you want to score!
Is a fantastic sport and I would like play it!!!
